Karmen Meić

Karmen Meić – has gained extensive professional experience in public procurement through her work for the City of Varaždin, as well as by attending numerous national and international seminars and workshops on public procurement. Since 2009, she has held a certificate for completing a specialised training programme in public procurement, renewed in 2014 (KLASA: 406-01/14-05/793, URBROJ:526-06-01-02-02/3-14-2). In the same year, she also completed a specialised training programme for trainers within the public procurement system. She participated in the “Training of Trainers in Public Procurement” programme, organised as part of the EU-funded project “Training in Public Procurement in the Western Balkans and Turkey” (Certifikat broj P453099/certification ToT Stage II/Croatia/16). The programme lasted five weeks and was conducted between 5 March and 5 July 2012. Her training expertise has been confirmed through her role as a lecturer in several cycles of specialised training programmes and continuous professional development in the field of public procurement. She is currently employed in the Department for Budget and Public Procurement of the City of Varaždin, where she performs a full range of public procurement duties, including planning, coordination, implementation, control, and analysis of procurement procedures.
